COVID-19 Information

Face coverings are required inside Town of Clayton facilities for employees and the public, regardless of vaccination status. Exceptions to the mask policy are consistent with those applicable to state facilities and are as follows: Persons with medical or behavioral conditions or a disability, children under five years of age, persons actively eating or drinking, anyone hearing impaired that requires visibility for communication, temporary removal for identification purposes.

Although we do encourage individuals to wear masks when groups of people not from the same household gather indoors, at this time, there is no mask mandate issued by the Town of Clayton for facilities or other spaces that are not owned by the Town. Individual businesses within Town limits may decide to require masks.

The Town of Clayton continues to follow the guidance provided by the Johnston County Health Department.
